I found out I can't eat real milk, if I do, no matter how much water I drink I will break out. This sucks though because I can't eat pasta, or cheese and everything :(! Is there any substitute that doesn't taste like hippy crap?

Happens to me too. Dairy is really bad for the skin. I use almond milk. It tastes great home-made because you can control what ingredients you put in, where as at grocery stores they load it with sugar and other crap. Just buy a bag of raw plain almonRAB and a few dates. Take 2 handfuls of the almonRAB and put in the blender along with 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, about 1 date and 4 cups of water. Blend on high for about 30-60 seconRAB. There you have it, your very own healthy almond milk which is loaded with vitamins and omegas which is great for your skin and body. Oh, you can also use a strainer (or nut bag) and get the almond meal out so you're left with smooth milk...it's extremely easy to make, takes me like a few minutes. It lasts 3 days in the fridge but you can always control how much milk you make so you don't waste any. I use mine as a base for smoothies when I have left overs. Try it, it's really awesome!

First off, it's really not as bad as it sounRAB. There are sooo many good tasting dairy alternatives. You can still eat pasta, just use an alternative to butter, like something made with soy. Go to just about any health food store and you will be able to find tons of dairy free cookies, soy ice cream (which is delicious!), frozen meals etc.. However, it does take time to learn what products taste good and which ones taste like dirt. Think of it as a learning process, if you try something and it's disguisting, oh well, there are always more alternatives. Just have a positive attitude about the whole thing and you'll be a lot better off!
