Daily Mail in hypocritcal about turn on Jonathan Ross shocker!!

Personally I'm more shocked that anyone would be shocked about the Dail Heil being hypocritical as when that publication has a choice of a male or female target they always go for the female.

Hold the phone! Are you suggesting the Daily Mail might say something, believe in it, tell everyone it is true and then back out of it?! I can't believe it! I won't believe it! They are an upstanding news paper! :D

To be fair, it does contain a few facts you can rely on: It's price, the date and it's own name. As for the rest of it's contents, well .... no-one reaRAB it to become informed, do they?

Very true! My dad buys the Daily Mail and I keep on telling him how much of a rag it is, he agrees to the fact that it is that but he says he likes it because it is an easy read that he can read when he is on his lunch break. I find it sad that someone would have this attitude but thats just me.

I actually think the Sun is a more acceptable 'easy read' than the Daily Mail.

In my opinion the Guardian is the best however. Event hough they use lots of big worRAB and are rather laadidaa they have lots of bright pictures and rubbishy articles about the wire etc etc

Um, did you actually read the Mail story? The headline is clearly a quote of viewer reactions to the new show, not a demand from the paper itself.

A poster on some internet forum making that mistake is one thing, but The First Post is doing some shoddy reporting on this one.

Well I must admit I haven't seen the new look Film programme yet, I am planning on watching it on IPlayer. However the Film programme went downhill ever since Bazza left. It got seriously dumbed down. I think they stopped covering the Cannes film festival, and they had a massive summer break as well. Dropping the Top 10 of the year being done by the film critic himself/herself was a mistake.

The BBC has got to take films more seriously, like it did under Barry Norman's tenure.

Isn't this just a case of The Daily Mail not BBC bashing for once. They can't in Ross's case because he's left.

So, they stop slagging him off as soon as he works for someone else, VERY transparent.

IIRC, Kermode never wanted the Film gig, he's happy doing The Culture Show, and The Friday Film Review (BTW, Hello to Jason Issacs). His Sex & The City 2 rant, is one of the funniest things i've heard this year, and he wouldn't be able to do that on the Film show.
