Daily Data Problems

Need help again. Since replacing my 8120, I have been having daily data problems. Every night around 11 PM Central, and sometimes during the day, for about 3 seconds, my phone will go from EDGE to Searching For Network to SOS and back to EDGE. Just now it went from EDGE to GSM. I am already on my 3rd SIM card in less than 2 years. I had not run the Diagnostic Test because the outages lasted all of 3 seconds.

UPDATE: Got full EDGE back after the reboot. Ran the Diagnostics Test anyway. It connected to everything except email (Yahoo and Hotmail accounts). I resent the service books and and it still didn't connect to email (Yahoo and Hotmail accounts).
 
I have similar issues. My data will go up and down all day. I wish it was for 3 seconds. Mine outages are more like 5-60 minutes. Sometimes reboots help and most of the time it doesn't. I have not been able track down a pattern and everytime I call T-mo they is there are no reported outages and everything is green across the board. Right now I am up and running. If I find pattern, I will let you know.
 
I found my other prepaid SIM card so I stuck it in a different phone I have. If that tanks at the same time my 8120 does I'll know if it's a device or network issue.
 
I have the same issue in Manassas, VA. Also my 8900 wouldn't transition calls from wifi to the network; I have had so many issue's with tmobile for last few months. They will be replacing my 8900 for the forth time; I ended up emailing the corporate office and the final answer I got from them is that they have 3 bar coverage in the area and if I am still experiencing issues than i can try another provider. I am probably going to switch over to ATT and have all my family members do the same.
 
No problems last night so maybe they were working on a tower out here and are finished.
