doesn't work etc. please help!? This is extremely frustrating me, I own the router mentioned above, every time i try and log into it through the routers IP address, I am always unable to log into it to change settings.... i can't even log into it through another laptops wireless function, as the access password is never accepted, four times i have had to reset the router, log into it (in the routers ip) using the default admin and no password, put new security settings on it, AND everytime i am sure to write down the new username and password in order to log into the router wirelessly through the routers IP address, and every time i try to log into it, without fail it won't let me log in.... and i am also sure to write down the pass word, not to change settings through the ip adress, but just to actually log onto it and use the internet, and no matter what I do, it never works... makes no sense what so ever to me... please help...
To the first responder, I understand what you have said about the separate passwords, but neither works for both, but the computer i am using to try and connect wirelessly still recognizes that the router has WPA2 security, and the username and password I have written down to log into the router through the ip address to change settings doesnt work (logging in with my laptop, not the computer i am trying to connect with) , and the passwords just used to connect to the router in order to use it for internet access doesn't work.....
The only reason that I can connect through the security with my laptop is that this laptop connects automatically...... (saved as default connection)
