I watched this with my wife a couple of weeks back. Thought it was a half decent film. Wasn't expecting much as it was a foreign film, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Great opening and closing but veers into Evil Dead silliness in the middle. Could have been great and truly scary but turned out to be routine stuff after all: too many intestines, chainsaws and machine guns (bolted to a snowmobile, give me a break).
Frostbite and Let the Right One In are the patterns to follow not sub-Sam Raimi junk.

i've got this film. it gets great reviews, i just don't know that i can face it in sweedish.

Horror films are the best for subtitles. Once the action starts there is usually silence/suspence/horror/screaming etc

Once you are 5 mins in you'll forget they are there.

Cold Prey is decent, there is also a sequel out on DVD here too.
