Cystic Acne on back Retin-A, Antibiotic, Neobenz prescribed reviews?

I am 30yr male and have been using Proactiv on my face with great results, my main acne prone area is my back, I used PanOxyl gel and Proactiv for the back and have been dissappointed. I went to see a dermatologist today who prescribed NeoBenz cream applied once a day to my face along with Retin A applied to the face at bedtime along with Doryx taken twice daily. I have an appointment to go back in 6 weeks to see the results. Has anyone else been on this medication? Have you noticed results? I can't see how antibiotics will fix my back without applying any creams but I am listening to the docs orders. Summer is coming and I want a nice and acne fre back.
 
Cysts are caused by bacterial infection of the skin. Taking antibiotics will fix them. It's kind of an extreme solution, though, given that antibiotics have unpleasant side effects.
 
Upset stomach is nuraber one, along with yeast infection in women. More seriously, if you were to develop a "real" infection such as bronchitis or something, that antibiotic wouldn't work.
