I am currently cycling a 54L tank for my betta who is currently in a 20L tank while his fins recover from some minor rot.
The cycling tank is heavily planted as I have two huge snails in there. I have been adding algae wafers for food as the plants are costing a fortune and it is working. The problem is now I can see thin, long white worms all in the water and moving on the glass. I haven't cleaned the tank for about a week and I have been adding the wafers at a rate of two a day. Could this be why I have the worms? and will cutting down on the wafers get rid of them?
