I have a 10g fish tank with substrate, plants, and a bleeding heart tetra. This tank ran for 4 days before I put the fish in and am not sure if my tank is cycled. I put my 1 year old red tail shark in and it sank to the ground belly up and died. I am on an INCREDIBLY tight budget, so I CAN NOT buy a test kit. I put anti chlorine in(also said adds sloime coat, wth?) iof that'll make a difference. My tetra is doing just fine (not eating though?!) but the shark died. Best answer = 10 points. Thanks!
