I'm visiting L.A and staying in Santa monica for my vacation. I'm thinking to take a bicycle ride to Hollywood and Melrose area as just only 15miles away. But i heard there no safe road to get there for cyclist, is that true? please give me some suggestion of the best route from Santa Monica to Hollywood.
