This is also known as Cutie Honey and I know there was a series in the 70's but I have only seen the new one that was in the 90's. I like this series and very interesting with the transformation. I never saw all the episodes cause my 2nd disc broke as I was taking it out of the case. Anyone else seen this anime or read the manga wether it was the 70's version of the 90's version or the 2004 film?

Kono Goro Hayari no onna no kou, oshiri no chiisa no onna no kou, Kocchi no mitte yo Hanni, dakke nan dakka, dakke dakke nan demo...

Ima doki ninki na onna no kou, puku uttu boin no onna no kou

probably the most hilarious lyrics of any anime song once translated. Not even counting Koda Kumi's artistic license with the song.

I will be honest here. Cutey Honey holRAB a special place in my heart, and I really can't be objective about it. It was the first subtitled anime that I'd ever seen, the first non-children's or non-edited-to-death anime that I'd ever seen, and the first anime I'd come across that wasn't from the early 80's. It was a profound experience that opened up an entirely new world for me. I had never seen anything like it, not by a long shot. For one thing, strong-yet-sexy heroines were almost unheard of in the west at that point.

Yeah, and that was an awesome theme song. Along with the ED from Kare Kano, no other anime song has ingrained itself into my brain as deeply.

There have been a few Cutey Honeys. There was Original Cutey Honey, 2 Cutey Honey Flashes (I think), Cutey Honey OVA in the mid 90's and more recently Re:Cutey Honey. Re:Cutey Honey was a lot more Ecchi and fanservicey than the mid 90's OVA that ADV Films picked up.
