Hi, I was looking under the hood and noticed that a hose that was connected to the side of the engine (driver side closest to the firewall) was cut out on the end that was directed toward the firewall. I checked both heater hoses and they are perfectly secure to the firewall. The hose is stamped "Heater Hose". Is it supposed to be connected to engine by one end and and cut out on the other end ??. The hose is dry and I don't suspect any leaks through it.
