Cut by salon scissors?

I was at an Aveda salon, and I usually get my hair cut there. The prices start at 35, and up for a cut. So the place is somewhat classy by any means. Alas, when I get home I notice a very small incision on the side of my nose, and now that I recall - the lady who cut my hair was cutting right next to my face, and I am sure that the cut is from the scissors she was using.

I know that it is law that salons disinfect their tools after every patient, but I am wondering if the agent in which they use would kill an un-curable disease.I have OCD, and am very anxious to know if I was by any chance infected with some kind of hepatitis.

My question is does this happen on a regular basis, and is it worth it to go get tested immediately?

The last thing I would want is to harm someone I love unknowingly.
