Me and my Dad have been looking for a good project car to customize for car shows because we are both muscle heads who have owned and customized cars mostly GM models from the late 70's to late 80's...a friend of my great aunt has a 63 Buick Riviera in pretty good shape that she is willing to donate for our project but the 401 cid V-8 and 3 speed transmission has to go..I was wondering if a small block 350 V-8 with a supercharger would fit and could we get away with replacing the transmission with a updated automatic from a Camaro IROC-Z or Caprice classic...has this been done before?
