Customer on ebay can take me to court?

I don't think you have anything to worry about if you sent PayPal and they refused. Be sure you have emails to support this claim.

As far as stuff staying on eBay, it doesn't. The items are sent most often through the Postal Service and irregularities can lead to postal fraud or other charges. The Post Office has a great deal of interest in things running smoothly at eBay as that has become a major source of funding. (They even made up special eBay boxes.) I've had to file two claims with the Post Office for damaged and lost items.

Long story short.
Customer sends money order.
Took 3 weeks to receive it.
I told them after 7 days id have to get rid of it and give refund.
Refused to send them a money order back(ebay wont allow it).
Tried sending them bank transfer/paypal, etc.
They refused.
Filed an ebay case (which was closed).
Today i get a letter from the attorney general and i have to explain my side.... isnt it that if anything happens on ebay it stays with ebay?

Of course they can take you to court. In fact, I'm sure they can sue you in their state, your state, and federal court, since it's interstate commerce. It sounds to me like you've made a reasonable effort to fix the problem; they are going to have to take their money and go home.
