12 guards chasing & battling Adromaedis
Causes of Death & Places killed:
1. one guard killed by fire in one of the 6 groups furthest away from the building (1/12 total)
2. two gurads (John & Geren) killed by fire after charging Adromaedis (3/12 total)
3. one of the four killed by fire in front of tavern (4/12 total)
4. one guard (James) killed by sword down the back in front of the tavern (5/12)
5. one guard killed by fire in front of tavern (6/12)
6. one guard killed by sword thrown into his chest(the one speaking to him 1st) (7/12)
7. two fellow guards fall apart at once & fall to the ground (9/12)
8. one killed by sword in the head while standing (10/12)
9. one killed, while retreating, by sword twirling at him & stabs him in the back (11/12)
10. only 1 left which survives.
(Mistake: accidently added a 13th guard without knowing and he was killed after being amputated and being stabbed in the face after landing)
How to solve this mistake. Please help me out
Made the corrections along the way while recapping on my story until I noticed near the end of the Main Char vs The 12 City Guards, that I had somehow accidently added a 13th Guard.
Note: Before the guards & the Main Char even started fighting, The main Char saw only 12 and spared one after the battle was over.
This 13th guard if left alone without corrections would make it sound like the 13th guard is a figment of the guard's & the Main Char's imagination.
So, should I delete this 13th guard?
or should I keep him & do another recap & correction in the numbers?
Keep him: guard groups are uneven but at least the Main Char would keep his score.
Delete him: Huge recap from beginning to end of Chapter 2, recorrections in the numbers, and the groups seem better with 12 than 13.
Finally, anyone know of a Grammar Program that's free and help with stories with low-grammar skills? similar to Openoffice but does the grammar part automatically, that's what I'm looking for.
Thanks everyone!
