I heard that here in the U.S. you can only make one custom bike and register it in you name.

I have a dirt bike and i was thinking about making it street legal, but i was told if i do this i will never be able to do it again. That i would have to buy it already registered, or at least thats how i understood it from the guy. I can't find anything online about it.

To me this doesn't sound right.
What i was hoping is that maybe someone can fill me in on what this law actually means, or if it even exists.

There isn't any limit on how many bikes you can customize. However, the ones you do customize have to meet certain requirements. Check with the DMV in the state you live in.

Better call someone I have 11 diffrent bikes in my name right now and I built 8 of them you can own a hundred if you want-or can

That doesn't make any sense. Any bike that meets DOT standards should be able to be registered.

That sounds like a crock of sh.t , I know if you don't have a Dealers license you cant sale more than 5 vehicles in a year in Florida any ways , But if you change one thing on any bike you just customized it . Maybe somebody better tell OCC choppers and all these other bike builders before they get into trouble / Call a Motorcycle builder in your area and axe them
