I doubt we will be launching additional colors. With the 8820 and new models on the way, they already have the exclusive gold color and will not be stocking additional colors of existing models..
Try www.colorwarepc.com you can paint the curve any color you want, I've seen the ferrari red and it looks amazing, very very high quality.

Thats to bad I had seen the regional sales report for the Pearl and there was a 58% increase when the new Pearl colors where released. I was hoping this would inspire the powers that be too do the same with the Curve.
And as far as getting my Curve painted, I have seen a few and am not a big fan, also now that more peeps are going this route there seems to be mixed reviews as to the life span of the paint.

Eh I agree. The string of pearls were to add variety to a super value.. As for the curve, its proven that color is less of a priority over functionality. Not to mention the higher manufacturing costs mean its a lot more expensive to make them all in different colors, not to mention nationally they would have to stock more of each color and that's a LOT OF MONEY sitting on the shelves. There is a business sense behind it and I understand it.
As far as colorwarepc, I've sent many clients to their site and they have been nothing less than thrilled (12 so far). I have seen 6 month old colors that look brand new. The paint is better quality than stock color paint so it will be AT LEAST as durable as stock. Sure they're may be one or two bad reviews but nothing is perfect. I support it if its that big a deal to you.

Oh dont get me wrong, I completely understand the business side of things, I was just hoping for a red Curve I replaced the face (face only becasue I keep it is a black case) on my current Curve w/ a not so great replacement and was just hoping some day I could go red out of the box And since red is currently manufactured for ATT I dont think it would be a huge cost to do it for Tmo.

~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~the colors are exclusve to carriers at times tmo has colors for the pearl that others do not and vice versa the colors pearls came out a lot later so with the curve still just being a few months old I don't know when other colors would be avail for mine I just got a red case that goes over it I get asked all the time how I got a red curve so its not obvious that its a case until you look really close
