Now I have the answer - ppl are playing nfs world which, it sounds unlikely from EA I know, is FREE! TO! PLAY! And is pretty fast and furious in a most wanted underground way
And I'm also now playing the nfs shift demo with a view to buying when I get bored of the demo.
