Why do you think this has come about and why? My Mother recently died and suffered for three months when her hospital care made her much worse and now my Father is going through the same thing. The specialized hospital says medicare forces him to leave no matter if he is too ill to be transported. I am angry with the system. I spoke with a 35 year old woman who was in the same hospital because her nursing home almost let her starve to death. She got down to 80 pounds.Neglect caused it.I see many young nurses who do not know the first thing about good physical patient care. Why?
