Hello, I have a vet school interview coming up, and I've been trying to research current events in veterinary medicine to prepare for it, but my searches aren't really coming up with much. I'm trying to find information mostly on dogs/cats, seeing as that's what I'm most interested in. I've found that the ethics of declawing and tail and ear docking are being discussed now, and I know there's a Horse Slaughter Act and Farm animal humane act in Ohio, that's trying to get passed (like prop 2 of california).
Does anyone have any other current events/hot topics in vet medicine?
