Current events for January 9, 2004?

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm trying to look up current events that happened on January 9, 2004. My daughter was born on that day and I am doing a scrap book for her and want to include things that happened on that day, you know like headlines, cost of gas, bread etc. Not sure if this makes sense but I was going to save a newspaper from that day but I forgot to do that and now I can't do it because too much time has passed. I tried putting the date in the Internet but no luck, Is there some website that can provide this info to me? I live in Toronto so I'd need a Canadian website with news from Toronto.
I'd appreciate serious answers not smart-a$$ ones.
