Curl boosting products for type 3 hair?

I have type 3 hair and I wanted to try and even out my curls and define them more without using gel that makes my hair dry and crunchy like herbal essence's scrunch gel and Tresemme Hair spray that I use when I normally scrunch my hair. It's pretty annoying and I hate the crunch and dryness. Does anyone know of a curl enhancing product for type 3 hair and one that will make my hair soft smooth and makes my curls pretty instead of dry, dull, and crunchy?? Thanks!!
