Im 17 years old, and have always been perfectly healthy. Im 5ft 11in tall, and weighed 150lbs. I now weigh 145.
I haven't been able to sleep for roughly two and a half weeks (18 days) and I don't exactly know why. Its like my mind wont stop working. I'd go to bed at normal hours, (9PM-11PM) And Id lay in bed, comfy, exhausted as all hell. But I just couldnt sleep.
I wasn't worried at first. Everyone gets a little insomnia. But then the next night, I couldnt sleep either. And the night after that, the same thing.
Its now been almost three weeks, and Ive slept little more then an hour a day (I just pass out when Im sitting down watching TV, or reading. It feels like I blink, and dont even know time has passed, then I check the clock and ten minutes have gone by)
I realized yesterday that Ive dropped 5lbs since three weeks ago. And thats when I got seriously scared because I eat like, well, a 17 year old boy. I tried to work out my daily calorie intake, just to make sure the weight loss wasnt related to my diet. I figure it must be anywhere between 2500 and 3500 a day. Plenty. I eat TONS of sweets, I love them, I drink tea with three table spoons of sugar. And eat at least a meals worth of chocolate a day. Im positive the weight dropp isnt related to my diet, so it has to be related to not sleeping.
Whats wrong with me? I dont really know what Im asking. If someone could explain this to me, that would be wonderfull. I know going to Yahoo with medical problems isnt the smartest thing >.> But Im ina situation in which going to a doctor would cost alot of money, that my family doesnt really have.
I went through puberty when I was thirteen people -.-
And I live a very solitary life. I spend most of my time reading books, the news, and talking online.
I do see a small group of friends often, and have a girlfriend. Sadly, no internal conflict in any of my relationships.
