I have to make a cultural studies paper. I've been thinking of using the architecture and spaces of my university as a primary text to study. I was wondering if anyone could suggest some sources that I could use and some articles or essays that have done something similar to what I plan to do. To be more specific, I want to write about space as a site of the contestations of power between race, ethnicity, and class. You may also suggest essays that use other kinds of spaces such as malls, churches, village communities etc. as the object of study. Thank you.
