Cubase LE 4 (program) and Lexicon Alpha help!?

When I set it up, staart up the program, and get everything plugged in, it insists I have the microphone channal open for the left speaker. i wont the left and right speaker to both have sound from the keyboard coming out of them. The quarter inch cable goes from the phones jack in the keyboard to the instrement jack on the lexicon. A USB then ru from the lexicon to the laptop givng it its opopwer and data transfer. I can only get sound in one side of the headphones, hwodo i get it to bot. I set up the project and I set the busses to stereo. Please help ASAP I don't have time for set backs
