Hello to all , I went to see my PM doctor today to go over my diskogram procedure that i had last week.. He said that both of my disc's did not look all that good , and that I will get more information when i go see my orthopedic doctor tomorrow.. I was woundering if any of you can help me identify what this means on my report ?

*Iodinated contrast material is seen with in the l4-l5 & l5-s1 disc spaces. A small amount of material is also seen with in the epidural space at l5 and layering with in the thecal sac.

* At l4-l5 , contrast material is seen to the left of the disc spacer , extending to the posterior margin.

* At l5-s1 , contrast material is seen to the left of the disc spacer , extending to the posterior margin. Postoperative changes are noted along the midline lower back.

* No central stenosis identified.

I don't no folks - I am not a doctor but this does not sound very good.. Any comments or thoughts would be appreciated , I am buggen out a little bit over here and my back is screaming..

Another thing - My PM doctor just put me on this new medication NUCYNTA , has any body ever tried it or heard about this medication ? It's supposed to be a very good medication for people suffering from back pain..

THANKS
DEv :mad:
