Cruel intentions

I love this film. It is a must have in the DVD collection.
Everytime if I am out driving and "Bitter Sweet Sympathy" comes on this film and the end comes straight into my head. I sort of feel cool then driving along.
 
I love this film too, I've got it on DVD.

I love the chemistry between Ryan Philippe and Reese Witherspoon and some of the one-liners are very funny
 
Can someone explain to me the general plot of this movie? I am watching but I missed a few bits near the start. What was the bet? What's the whole plan thing?
 
Love this movie!!! Going to be watching my DVD sometime because all the E4 adverts have made me desperate to watch it again soon. Ryan Philippe, Reese Witherspoon and Sarah Michelle Gellar are all great in this film.
 
Cruel Intentions 2 isn't actually that bad - but the true sequel to Cruel Intention 2 is Cruel Intentions 3 but I haven't seen that one yet as it went straight to Video / DVD - I don't even think it's been on TV yet even though it was released in 2004.

Jason and Patrick form a mean-spirited partnership of seducing and dumping various young women on campus. When both of their latest conquests bore them, Jason bets Patrick if they can seduce a particular newcomer, who is under the wing of Cassidy. The third one is ok, the second one is pointless.

The first is one of my fave films ever. Soundtrack is excellent as previously mentioned.
