Hello,
I'd like criticism on my gym workout routine. I'm trying to improve my muscle mass.
I go to the gym twice a week and I work different muscles on the two days as follows:
On day 1, I train the chest, biceps, triceps, forearms and shoulders. For the chest, I do bench press. For the biceps, triceps and shoulders, I just use the gym machines, one machine per muscle. For the forearms, I just roll up and down a rope attached to a weight around a stick.
On day 2, I do the abs, the upper back, the lower back, leg extensions, leg curls, calfs and squats. I just use the gym machines for everything there, except for doing squats and abs. I also do pull ups for the back.
Are there muscles that I'm overlooking? Would you have exercises to recommend I add to my list? Do you think what I'm doing is efficient, i.e. resting every muscle for a whole week? I'm thinking maybe I should go to the gym 3 times a week. Any other comment or suggestion is welcome.
Thanks!
