I have been asked to find three main criticisms of the HIC but have looked through the internet and a book (Crash injuries how and why they happen by Alvin S. Hyde) and I can only find one maybe two
That it inappropriately lumps together minor and major head injuries.
It only measures the max tolerance on the skull and there can be a lot of soft tissue damage without a skull fracture.
I was just wondering if these two were correct? And if you could think of anymore or better ones?
Thanks for your time
Steve
