About a month ago i was with someone who jumped a turnstile, i paid and didnt get a ticket, but my friend did. The officer asked for my ID and found a previous ticket i had (and i forgot about) from about 15 years ago when i was 16 years old. I got arrested and was in jail for about 4 hours until they let me go and gave me a letter to show up to court. They also have a record on me for criminal posession of a weapon when i was a minor, which i was in jail for and never got in trouble with the law ever since.
Now i dont know what to expect. Should i be worried about jail time? Should i get a lawyer? Do you think they will just make me pay a fine?
Im really worried about this and would really appreciate some real advice.
