Good job on the review! It was nice because it was quick and to the point. I've seen some reviews and some people say "Uh, no, that's the wrong button." "Ummm, I don't know what that does, I'll mess with that later." and it gets annoying. :p

Thanks for posting. It was very interesting. It definitely looks like a nice phone. The keyboard in landscape mode doesn't look too bad. I've never used a touchscreen keyboard before so I guess that is something to get used to.

There are always insurance replacement droids for sale here in Austin for a couple hundred. There are some that are a few months old for less.

Of course, this is going off of the word of who is selling the phone, I know. This is one of the reasons why i'd even consider the Zio, I can buy it brand new and baby it.

Well he said he rooted it. But, he also can not get the phone to boot up properly.

Also. Im pretty sure he is only talking about the current state he is in. I've had no data issues with any app yet. Heck, pdanet even works great.

I have one HUUUGE question, how is the service on the phone? I use to have a kyocer and had terrible service (with Cricket), I had alot of dropped calls and glitches, then switched to a Motorola and had really great service, to this day I still do.

So need some input from the pro's =) would you recommend this phone? i am upgrading from a Mogul (PCC-6800) is there a better option out?

I actually dumped my Mogul for a Zio. I've had it about a week so far, here are my initial observations:

* Physically, the phone feels more delicate. The Mogul was a brick, and it's heft was reassuring. I may be paranoid, but I get nervous with the Zio in my pocket.

* The on-screen keyboard takes getting used to, and will probably be the biggest source of frustration for you. The keys are absolutely tiny in portrait mode, but a little bit bigger in landscape mode. I'm getting more adpet though.

* Going from a Mogul with a flashed 6.5 ROM to a 'native' 1.6 android phone, the speed and responsiveness was refreshing, and I have yet to miss an app on the Mogul. The App Market is very robust.

* The Zio also has a built-in mini headphone jack, no need for that silly USB adapter dongle.

* With GPS and BT turned off and 'average' use, I get about 13 hours of battery life. I'd suggest a spare power cord for work/ school.

Hope that helps. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you may have!
