I did *228 as well on my flashed Droid, but it didn't seem to do anything after it completed. Also tried it with only a Cricket PRL and no nv items written, it wouldn't complete the otap
 
the info from an actual kyocera reps is this.
phone will be 249.99 and will require a mandatory "android plan" from cricket which will be 55 a month the new plans have all the "extra fees" built in you need only add your local tax. no more late fees no more activation fees just pay the price for the phone and first month bills for new customers, old customers get the same price as the new customers

phone will launch with 1.6 and will be upgraded in october to 2.1 no mention or time frame from 2.2 by the kyocera rep or how this would be done.

the phone he had was preproduction but a ton better than the when it was first seen in those youtube videos at ctia

D@mn It I want a hard date I'm soooooooo Sick of waiting Ive been Watching this now for the last 4 months. The sales reps at the cricket store are almost completely useless and Its killing me.I bought an HTC Eris with intentions on flashing it . But as a AWS network subscriber I'm Screwed. I Just want an android. Hey HTC how about some tri-band phones Please :doh: So Hard dates any one?
 
ive hear a bunch of stuff on the android phone as far as release date today alone, i heard it will be released august now ive heard fall/september no one really knows exactly when, i also just got some info saying couple of days. Who knows but i want it NOW
 
I know Ive been hearing the same thing as far as Sep. Goes But with cricket who knows:rolleyes: :befuddled: Can We get a link to the Zio's Facebook? Now Hopefully there is enough of a following that we can get some root action and some sweet stable rom's :clapping:
 
Yeah, I noticed that. At first, I saw that they were very unprofessional, and then after reading a little longer I learned that they weren't official.
 
They said from the beginning that they're not official. Cricket has no Zio page. They did have contact with the people running it though. It's just Zio fans congregating.
 
Yeah, from what I've been reading a lot of people are saying it is coming soon. I even read this week! We can't count on it though. We know what has happened before.
