Cricket to Launch Android Phone

It might be too early to ask, but I'll try anyway..

Is it possible to use radio applications, such as the Sirius/XM Radio app, and Pandora, iHeart Radio, etc, and connect it via. Bluetooth to the car to stream? I have Ford SYNC and can connect my current phone (Samsung JetSet) to the car for music that is on my Micro SD card, but I was wondering if I could do the same with the Kyocera Zio, but have it streaming from the cell towers (over Internet)..

Does anyone know if this is possible?

EDIT: There is a headphone port on the Zio, right? Does that mean I could use an AUX cable and connect it to the car that way? Do you think it would work?

You can do the same with the Kyocera Zio(Prounoucned ZEYE-OH) that you can do with the Jetset. The Zio will have a MicroSD card that supports up to 32GB. Load it up with music and it will be able to transmit to your car via bluetoth. Your Ford SYNC should work just fine.

It has the full Android market place. You can buy with a credit card or flex bucket funds. Cricket won't restrict what you can do with it, but you are still subject to fair use, so keep it under 5GB to avoid a throttle.

It does have a headphone jack and it's 3.5mm so the same cable that connects your iPod to your car will connect this phone.

Well, instead of putting music on the MicroSD, do you think I'd be able to stream radio using Pandora or Sirius/XM applications to the car using bluetooth or the headset jack?

I was told today by a manager at cricket corp that the ZIO will be available in 3 weeks and that the $60 plan will be reconfigured for the phone, unlimited data/net and all the other goodies.. I hope its true. Just thought I would mention it on here.

Remember,
this is Cricket we are dealing with.
They were charging $200 for Moto Razr in 2008.

I am expecting it to to sell for $299,
I doubt they would sell it for any less.
Cricket business model = Overpriced Phones w/ Cheap Monthly Plans.

From what I've heard, the current data speeds are good enough for Android phones, as long as it is the HTML Data plan. I read somewhere about Cricket having 6-8 Mbps, but I'm not sure where I read that, so it might not even be true. Cricket's supposed to be launching a MiFi though, and I can't see them letting people share Internet if it's only going to be 1 Mbps or so, but you never know.. I'm just guessing here..

Browsing is fine, but some apps over the Internet aren't usable. I can't use Tikl(Chirp) over the phones net, I must be on Wifi to use it.

I'm on the HTML plan with a Hero.
