Cricket splash for XV6700

I got tired of seeing the Verizon Red Check everytime I soft reset my 6700. I made up a Cricket splash instead. You can install this with a few different programs that are out on the net. The software will install the new splash into the ROM. The pic is below to use to load into the software and save as the splash1 and splash2.

Opps I posted a second too late

Here is a link to software to change your splash screen. When you run it on the 6700 you will also need to start it on yout PC desktop. It will ask you to reboot the cell from the desktop click yes. Thw software is from another forum. I cant remeraber if I used this one or not.

I used the one i had linked to im my previous post and man does it look cool with the cricket splash screen coming up! It makes me feel like its a real full branded cricket phone. I love it thanks for the idea!

I have seen on a few forums that you can use a sugar cube or sun screen to take the logos off of cellphones. I have a Verizon phone that is black and dont want to mess up the black coating.

Bugger Dont do it!!!! I tried doing the sugar cube removale to my phone and it did not work. It only hurt the plastic. I would recomend not doing it or using some sort of sticker skin on the logo. Just a warning to those witht eh xv or ppc6700

Dowload the ZIP from the link above. Unzip the contents of the file. just open up the program called apachesplash.exe it will ask where the splash file is just point it to the cricket mafia.nb file. It will back up original splash, then write yours to the phone. Then just click reboot to see the screen.

No you run everything from the computer. nothing goes on your PDA.
