Is there a way where i can just do *228 on the lg phones so that it programs and it doesnt mess up the cricket settings. Every time i do *228 it changes back to the verizon settings both on the mms and web settings. IM using berrys tutorial. Someone told me that if i put zeros in for the MIN and MDN it will automatically program once you do *228 and replace the zeros with the MIN and MDN that you are trying to use.

Which phone are you talking about? I haven't had any problems with any of the LG phones. You do the changes per the tuts and you are off and running. Pretty simple really. Then you can do a *228 and it will put in the phone nuraber in the places that need a phone nuraber. I have never had a customer bring back an LG because *228 reverted the phone back to Verizon.

Where a lot of people go wrong on those tuts is they don't change the paramtable1.fil bit from 00 to 20. If you don't, it will still let you do the NV Edit in LG Download but it won't save it.

some vzw phones always revert, the vx9900 enV is one of them. nothing i could do other than keep a copy of paramtable.fil handy and reload it when this happened.

i noticed if i pulled the battery that it would revert also.
