I have a Sprint HTC Touch that I flashed over to Cricket and everything is working great but I also have an aircard with Sprint and as you know the speed is much better on Sprint. I was wondering if there is any way for me to use my Sprint internet service on the same phone that i am using Cricket phone service as an alternate or primary internet connnection when I am not using the aircard?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer

:^/ At a guess, I'd copy the aircard's Data Username and Data Password to the phone. Place them just where your phone stores your Cricket Data Username and Password.

Of course, you'd need the appropriate cables, software and so on.

If I understand you correctly, you want a phone to make voice calls through Cricket and Data services through Sprint.

You could do this using Dual NAMs. You have to activate the phone first as a Sprint phone, and load the Sprint PRL into one NAM, then activate the phone with Cricket, and load the Cricket PRL into the other NAM.

A simple registry hack allows you to switch between NAM's in real time:
Code:
HKLM\Software\OEM\PhoneSettings\HiddenNAMSelect=0
Then you go to Settings\Personal\Phone\Services\Switch NAM and press the Get Settings button.

Unfortunately, you can only get data services to work with only ONE of those carriers: That is--if you use Sprint for data you will not be able to browse the web when you switch over to the Cricket NAM.

Hope this helps! :2thurabs:

To do say Cricket as the second NAM, would you switch over to NAM 2 then, upload PRL and call Cricket to activate, all while NAM 1 is active on Sprint? Or do you have to wait for Cricket to activate then, upload PRL?
