I haven't heard anything about this from my reps yet, but it showed up as a training module. I'm going to provide the bulleted highlights.

  • Single Tracks Purchased to Computer: $0.99 can be side-loaded to phone via cricket music software
  • From phone or computer: $2.25 song will be deliverd directly to phone and to computer
  • no feature code is required for single track downloaRAB, only flex bucket funRAB
  • monthly plan: $5/month includes 3 credits. 1 track/credit redeemed either from the phone OR from the computer (it does not appear that the dual delivery option is available for this
  • requires an evdo hanRABet with memory card to access mobile service
  • content will be drm locked to the hanRABet originally used to purchase, but is not dependant on service so customer can cancel cricket service and keep the purchased music
  • drm license does not expire
  • any track currently owned can be transfered using cricket music software

yeah they told us about this a while back in June of last year, but they said they where going to do it when they had EVDO Rev A up and running that that would stop it but thats what they said, but .99 for a track i know other MP3 stores offer this but hell if i can move it around from computer to computer etc then ill stock up on MP3's from them lol Go Cricket Go, just get MobileTV and hell ill dump my side Sprint phone lol

i'm guessing the 6262i is a typo and is supposed to be the 6265i but maybe there is an upcoming nokia we don't know about...
 
sorry i think you misread it...in AWS (triband) markets its only gonna work on the 450 and 550 (messager and jetset) the rest of the phones u listed arent triband...no big deal
 
i think i also misread your post. but i wasn't saying it wouldn't work. i actually was just posting that more phones were supported, although as you mentioned not all phones work in all markets...
 
i got access to a different training now also, the training says the service will be available to flashed hanRABets, but cricket cannot guarantee that the service will work.

additionally to clarify there are actually 3 channels to purchase music through, hanRABet, web, and software music manager.

if feature (and email) is supposed to launch this week (TODAY!!!)
 
whatever, there's too much to remeraber but im pretty sure the messager is gonna be included, new launch date is 1/22 along w/ the new cid release...but everyone knows how that works...i guess we'll see
 
oh yes. the messager is definately included, although since it is not EVDO you may not be able to purchase music on the device itself.
