Cricket l7c mms and internet not working

Hi I have a cricket l7c phone and I'm paying for the mms and internet service but I'm not able to send or receive picture messages and or use the internet. I have called customer service but they have just resend the package and they have told me to reactivate the phone by *228 but that has not work. I've been trying everything to get the picture messages and the internet going but I have failed in all my attempts :doh: . I was wondering if there is a way to fix this problem, I have tried resetting the wap info but I'm not quite sure if I'm entering the correct information if someone has the infofmation available for this fix I will be greatly appreciated. I have tried doing the tutorial called "Cricket WAP Info get in here!!" and when I tried to access the internet it gives me a message of authentication failed and as soon as I try to send a message it will display sending 0% and it won't go any further. what prl do you have? What market are you in?
if you follow my thread (closer to the end) you'll find the answer how to add correct EVDO login and password usind rsd tool.
 
ummm if he just flashes with the Cricket Monster he will not have that problem, is the phone is a athu cricket phone. then all i can say is reflashing it and doing a *228, * Note that after you flash it you will have to 1st program the phone by hand then do a *228 and everything should work fine. thats if CS and the office have tried and or are not willing to help you
 
I had a similar problem with the L7C. I solved it by reflashing it and then I manually progammed it instead of using the *228. for some reason, even though the phone is fully flashed, a *228 reverts the phone back to the orginal wap/mms settings. I hope this helps out.
 
PRL: 1013 and I am in the cricket market in el paso texas thank you all for your help but i dont know how to flash the phone. any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
try a 1x prl. if that doesn't work i'm not sure what to tell you. i've had a couple of water damaged motos that everything else appeared to be fine (could make calls, camera worked, music player etc...) but they couldn't do anything with data...
 
Also try to clear the browser memory. I've seen a few SLVRs that data issues were fixed by clearing the cache, typed urls etc. Then again, I've seen a few others that required a reflash.
 
It is probably the evdo PRL. Try simple 3's suggestion. I have had several V3's do the same thing after *228ing them. Something to do with the evdo prl on them doesn't want to work but after I write the 1x prl and hanRABet program it that fixes the problem 100% of the time. It has been that way here since they rolled out the broadband.
 
Hello thank you everybody for helping. I'm a newbie and I do not know which of the following to use as mentioned by simple 3 to use 1x prl. currently using the 1013 prl

and not quite sure what the settings are for manual programmation. I have tried to backup my phone so I can try flashing the phone too but I'm using the "Flash&Backup" software and it gives me an error when the software recognizes my phone and I click the read data button it takes the phone into flash mode and gives me error on every file. thank you very much once again.

write the 1040 to it and hanRABet program by doing a 74663#clearclear (you have to do the clear clear really quick) it will then bring you to the screen that lets you program the MIN MDN
 
I have been trying to backup my phone so I can start doing the changing of prl and or the flashing of the phone but I have been unable to backup my phone using flash and backup I have tried using the newest software 3.7 and the old ones too the 3.0.058 but both of them tell me the same message:

I have tried to back it up with all the formats available and all of them have given the same error. I dont know why it does not even reaRAB the firmware or flex. Thank you for your help
 
Does anybody knows how to make the flash and backup work for the motorola l7c phone because it gives me the above error and I have not been able to back up my phone and I don't want to brick my phone. I want to be able to backup my phone before I start doing some changes to the phone. Any help will be gladly appreciated :doh:
