I went home for the weekend and when I came back on Monday, I heard a cricket chirping. I figured out that it is in the heater that runs along the floorboards (I called the housing office. They said that the heaters aren't used anymore and that there wasn't anything they could do about the cricket).
It is now Friday. It is still chirping. I have gotten VERY little sleep the past week. My dorm is really small, so it's not like I can get away from it.
Help! How can I get rid of it? When will it die? Assuming there's only one and it doesn't have access to food or water.
I really don't want to use bug spray. I have major sensitives to chemicals
