Cricket in Memphis?

I just got a Razr V3M verizon phone and flashed it to cricket using the Ghinvestors tutorial.

All went very well and am trying to activate it to replace another phone. Using 611, all I get is "network is experiencing problems". Is this common?

Also, will this cost me $15 to switch from one phone to another?

Did you call 611 from the original phone (the one you're switching it from) or the newly flashed one? Cause you won't just be able to call from the newly flashed one unless it's ESN on the cricket network. And yes it will cost you $15 to switch one phone to another.

I have tried on my own cricket phone(Slvr Lc7) and the newly flashed V3M. Both nurabers are on the same family plan. I wish cdma workshop really worked cause this $15 switch is BS.

I started at 4pm and got the phone flashed by 530. I thought that would be hard part since it was my first time flashing a phone. The actual hard part has been getting someone on the phone at cricket to push 2 freakin buttons to make this phone active. So far, human response by cricket is more than one can ask for.

I have tried calling by att land line , 2 active cricket lines and a cingular account...same thing...."we are experiencing technical difficulties in your area"

Cricket are having some problems lately. My broadband is going up and down and the EVDO on my phone is flipping between 1x and 3g all the time the last few days.
Local store says they are experiencing network issues since Saturday (my local dealer couldn't even access my account) so it's probably true about the 'difficulties'
If you have a local cricket store it might be worth the drive.
