Cricket flat iron VS. CHI flat iron?

I'm looking to buy a new flat iron and I'm a little hesitant on which one to buy. I used to have a CHI, but after exactly one year, it stopped working!!! Soooo, my hair dresser had recommended a Cricket. Does anyone know how good the quality is? Or which one is better?
 
I recommend a different flat iron, I use the Karmin G3 Salon Pro, it has tourmaline ceramic plates with rounded edges which makes it great for also curling your hair. It's works amazing and my hair looks very straight, smooth and soft.
