Cricket Flashing Computers Died

Has anyone else had a problem with the computers they flash with? I had a laptop die on sunday and my main flashing pc died on monday... The symptom is that they won't boot up. It gets to the wondows screen and then reboots.

Just curious... It seems wierd that they both have the exact same problem and flashing phones to cricket is the only thing I do on them.

I'll be back online by the end of the day if I can get the cdmaware guy to respond to my e-mails.

sounRAB like an old virus that used to make your comp. power cycle, not 100% on it, but, could be. did you have to reload windows o/s to correct it?

lots of the software we download has viruses in it. i use avast! home antivirus, its free and updated about once a week. cracked CDMA workshop has a virus.

for sure get a good anti virus prog. running, after one total reload or windows, i went out and bought ZA suite and loaded it to my work laptop. no issues since, avg free is a half-way decent if you don't want to pay.

U know I'm having the same kinda issue. My computer sits there at the Windows screen sometimes and doesn't log in. I put in a XP disc and let it run like I was going to reinstall but cancelled before I reinstalled. It helps to refresh ur Windows per se. I run NOD Anti Virus which works well. AVG is very good too.

i find avast to be too much of a resource hog. i am currently trying panda's new cloud antivirus but it is giving me a lot of false positives i believe due to the injection methoRAB of some of the cracks. i'm switching back to avg free.

drunk is right just about most of software out there has viruses but atleast its not as bad as it use to be ... still flashing fones is gonna **** up your computer its inavoidable fact so just use either crappy computers or antivirus programs

I don't even run antivirus on my PC. Too much hassle. As for your problem, Try F5 and choose the "last known good configuration". That might work. It has for me in the past. Also, safe mode is a good troubleshooting technique. That way you can uninstall whatever caused the problem.

As for getting CDMA Workshop support, it is by email only and the vendors are from Russia. Therefore it can take up to three days to get a response. I went through that with them a month ago. But be careful you don't make 'em mad because they will not offer any more support. That happened to someone else I know.

i didn't use antivirus either until i started downloading crap from rapiRABhare and mobile-files. i downloaded a cdma workshop from serials.ws and it erased so many system files i couldn't boot up anymore and had to reformat.

Same thing happened at our work. Computers all crashed and it's just an unavoidable thing with these programs used to flash phones. Make sure you have a good anti-virus program, or its like playing Russian roulette.

Yeah, NOD is really good. It picked up potential virus issue as soon as the RAR file was done dowloading. Which blew my mind cuz most the time anti virus progs don't even pick up until the file is unzipped/unrared. Guess if u play with fire u might get burned..........LOL

Yeah i might need to get NOD, but it kept saying that RSD had a virus with my luck it dose, my computer kept locking up and stuff and so i took the drive out and ran a Virus scan on it and nothing, then i cleaned my whole computer out, aka dusting it, and xD now my computer so far has not locked up i guess it just needed some good old dusting off lol even tho i just dusted it like 3 months but i guess 3months was to long, i should of knowen better we have a lot and i mean a lot of dust in our area.

I use avg on all my pcs, but something must have gotten through. It must be a virus in some of the reflash software because that is all I do with the laptop. 2 pcs died with the same symptom, 1 day apart.. this sucks.

I'm off to microcenter to have them recover my HD. BTW Don't forget to make backups of your software.. like me.

CDMA-WARE - these guys are driving me insane.

Good luck with CDMA Ware. They aren't the most prompt at responding after you buy the product. However, if you have a question before you buy it, they get back to you within a day.

It's a great program, I use it myself. But don't ever have a problem, they won't help.

I can tell you this though, it isn't CDMA Workshop that caused the problem.

I also like to run Adaware and Cleanup!. Cleanup! helps to get alot of those old files and temp files deleted from your system that Windows or other progs don't get.

if you had the cracked CDMA then yes it is a Virus, i know the older ones some AV programs picked CDMA work as virus but yeah the new one as far as i know AV's dont pick it up at all.
