ok ive searched around for the last cupple days trying to figure out crickets ev-do and ive got cupple answers but more questions
little background first:
I live in suprise arizona i have an xv6600 flashed my self to cricket everything works including mms wap as well now here come my questions and if the answers i think im gonna get are dead on then the questions are stupid but i need to confirm for my self so little help here guys oh and i get 1xrtt here but i work in phoenix and get evdo at work
1. is the evdo service tied in with the dial-up wap or is there another way to access this service: the answer i seem to be getting on this is yes u dial into wap to get evdo
2.if the answer i was getting is right why is evdo just as slow as 1xrtt: i have a wifi adaptor for my xv6600 works just fine but lately i havent been useing it cuz i just got my phone back on and was hopeing evdo would be faster than the shops wifi i stream movies to work from my comp during the day and with wifi i get awsome streaming ability with evdo i get 4 seconRAB of video between each buffer and eventually the server will give up on the device
3.what can i do to fix this problem i was getting ready to get a 6800 or 6900 but if the evdo is this slow may as well go with verizon wich i hate there service from past experince in the navy
any help here would be very appreciated im sure these answers are about right so reassure me or not thanks
