So i went into the cricket store because i bought a different phone and activated it over the phone with them. My battery wasn't holding charge and when the lady looked at it she said it was bad. So she went a got me a different one for free and change my plan to what i asked her to change it to. It was a nice change to be served there haha. Also i over heard a rep. talking to a customer saying that after being with cricket for 12 months you can get $30 off your next phone purchase, some upgrading thing for being with them a while. I have been with them for almost 4 years now i love them! :clapping:

oh yeah

was with cricket for 4 years and loved them...no complaints. I got the $30 off a new phone once. you can't beat unlimited!!

I had dropped calls sometimes and the coverage was lacking here and there, but i could talk as much as i wanted. i just read where they are expanding...good for them

fours years and $30 off isn't that great, you should have pressed them and they would have given you at least $50 off. I used to work for them, $30 off is what you get after a year of service. So for 4 years you should get more. :2thurabs:

Actually they do the $50 off still, unfortunatley cricket encourges people to act ingorant to obtain this or just threaten to disconnect. The RSRs may not have the ability at all stores but the managers certainley do. With leap having gone public last year they would rather retain customers then have their churn go up. The $30 upgrade was implimented about a year ago, and up to two months ago when I still worked for cricket I had the ability to give $50 off a phone. Also you can call corp. at 858.882.9999 to ask for a higher credit.

Well, you're right, but your wrong :) They offer $30, thats the set limit, if needed they can go higher, but $30 is the limit that has been set for upgrades.. So you're right they can go higher, but truth be told you're not supposed to.....

Just because you're not supposed to doesn't mean that an individual representitive won't if you give them a good reason. Especially if you are in good standing.
