CRICKET - Deleting and Blocking Application from your ZIO phone.

Not only is Cricket forcing you to use Android 1.6 (8 os behind whats available), they are blocking application from the market and deleting applications from your phone as if they own the phone as well.

You will notice, 'step by step' Navigation has been deleted from most if not every cricket phone even though this was a selling feature.

I just cancelled my Cricket ZIO Smartphone because cricket has completely taken it over . They are supposed to provide phone service not control what I do with my phone.

I called them and told them if I buy a PC from Best Buy, Best Buy doesn't tell me what I can and cant download, and get on my PC and delete stuff.

Total RIP OFF!

Nobody - except yourself - forced you to buy the Zio and the service. With that being said, what were you expecting? I have had the phone since it came out, and I have no complaints. So what if it isn't running Android 2.2? I have a phone that allows me to get online anywhere, allows me to send texts anywhere, allows me to send twitter updates anywhere, should I go on?

As for 'step by step' Navigation, do you mean Google Navigation? I have had zero problems with this. None. Zilch. Zero. As a matter of fact, it has saved my butt a few times.

Cricket isn't blocking applications, Android Market is blocking applications because they aren't compatible with 1.6

Get over yourself, dude. Cricket hasn't deleted anything from my phone. Take off the tin-foil hat.

Take my advice: pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

Ignorance is bliss - Cricket should not control phone after purchase, only the phone service. They are blocking and deleting apps right off the phone. Step By step NAVIGATION, not google nav, you have no idea what Im talking about because CRICKET already deleted it as you just verified. Its morons that cricket counts on for there business. :clapping:

Calling me a moron isn't going to win you any points, sunshine. I use Cricket because it's cheap, and it meets my neeRAB. I have been a loyal customer of Cricket for years with no problems.

I have had the Zio since day one. For me, it has never had this 'step by step' navigation.

Do you have documented proof that they are deleting stuff from your phone? Name for me any other stuff that they have deleted from your phone, along with documented proof. I am all ears. Otherwise, your senseless rarablings don't hold water.

And for what it's worth, Google Navigation is just as good as any other GPS unit out there.
