Has anyone tried the Android Zio plan on a windows mobile phone? Off the top of my head i can't see why it wouldn't work, but it would be nice to know for sure if someone has it working.
I'm having a weird issue with my TP2 on the Android plan, though.
I have great speeds on the browser, with no proxy.
But, I can't get Windows Live to access the internet without running Proxycap through the 8080 proxy (?).
This is with WM 6.5, Running 32100 PRL.
I had an Incredible on the same account yesterday, and everything worked well.
Ok I got my phone listed as the Zip, but when I deleted the autostart and u2nl I had no internet at all. Should I delete the autostart root that I got from the market as well?
Yes, you're really only supposed to delete that one. The other stuff won't run on boot without the autostart root installed.
It should have worked anyway, did you reboot?
I took my Droid into a Cricket dealer the other day to see if I'd be able to make this happen, and while they were able to switch me to the All In $55 plan, my device remained listed as Customer Provided Equipment days later. Still getting the same speed as the $45 plan when I leave the proxy settings enabled (autostart.sh, u2nl), and unable to establish a connection when they are removed. I have since switched back to the $45 plan, and I haven't been able to see any difference in speed throughout the entire process with the exception of not connecting. I have yet to find anyone who can help with the necessary changes. Is this at all possible for the average Joe?
