Cricket D/L Cap Removed Today?

I'm on the $40/mo unlimited plan and have gotten max 160kbps d/l speeds since I signed up with Cricket back in March. Today I just happened to run a speedtest on my EVO (after upgrading to Froyo 2.2 which btw is MUCH faster than 2.1), and wallah...I'm getting 400kbps+ d/l speeds!

Can anyone else confirm this in other markets and on various phone? I didn't change any network configs so this must have been a change on Cricket's end (likely related to the rollout of their Android phones).

*Note: I do NOT pay the extra $15 for the HTML plan.

just ran a speedtest via the speedtest.net app and i am now seeing 500kbps download and 800kbps upload at 5pm, this is awesome

Yeah I just got 614 dl speed using the speedtest app. So maybe that's why mms stopped working on the droids because of the new rate plans?

Nevermind I switched to the 45 plan and its uncapped still.

I got 708kbs speeds from mobiletestspeeds.com the first try then it went down and stayed at 400-425 range.
