Cricket coming Chicago / Burbs (?)

I recently read an article in the Crown Point news paper claiming that the city recently aproved the erecting of a Cricket tower within the city limits. I figured that by now, at the least, Chicago would have Cricket coverage. I haven't heard of any other towers being built in the area. Considering I'm almost 50 miles from the heart of Chicago, I'm sure progress is being made elsewhere.

Any other news?
 
Yes it is supposed to be very large. I heard 80 Indirect Retail locations plus corporate stores. You can check out mycricket.com / careers for the job postings. Who they are hiring will let you know how close they are.
 
I actually just checked out the tower that was put up in my works' parking lot. It is on a Tmob/Att used tower, and I figured it might be just some 3G antennas being added, but they had an identifying sticker on the control unit labeled for CricKet.

I'm so excited, it will be nice to have a smaller bill again...

The CricKet antennas are the bottom ones in the pic, then tmo, then att at top.

The tower is located at I94/Willow Rd.
