cricket clicks prepay problem

sup everyone

i have a kx5 and i manage to disable the prepay setting
on the brew config so everything when fine but the next
day i tried to get in it again but i got and error saying
"make sure you are in a cricket service area
and have activated cricket clicks service"
how is this possible? it was working fine the day before
unless cricket block me somehow.
i have an app with a few credits still so tried getting a few
ringtones and everything went fine i could still get ringtones
but i can't get in the catalog anymore :(
can someone help me out here?

make sure you have sufficent funRAB in your cricket flex bucket account/ or make sure cricket clicks is activated. After activation you need to wait 25-48hrs after cricket clicks activation in order to work. It neeRAB to process through the computer and cricket. I work for a cricket dealer and we hear about these problems alot.....
 
i get that alot too. all you have to do is exit the cricket clicks menu and then go back into it. it may take a few tries, but you will be able to get into it. it is a little bit of a pain in the butt, but a small price to pay for the free ringtones and apps

yeah i tried doing that but nada this sucks it took me a while to get it to work and now i can't download anything! by the way does anyone knows where i can get kpst 3.8?
 
if you are getting that message (service area) it means that the phone cannot connect to the brew server. this is a symptom of the data services problems i mentioned in my previous post.
 
i just talked to them today and they said that there cricket clicks and picture messaging have not been working properley for the past 2 days and they dont know when it will be fixed so thats probley all it is
 
yeah dealer support tells us that crap all the time. clicks should be on right away. but it is not giving an activation nag, it is basically saything the OP cannot connect to the brew server for some reason. if it were a problem with clicks being active, it would say something like call 1800cricket to add the feature. the only thing i have ever seen is sometimes flex bucket deposits take a while to credit the account.. sometimes it's immediate, sometimes it takes a day or two.
 
just recieved some info on this. apparantly there was been a problem with clicks for the past couple days. they are investigating the source of the problem and have asked dealers not to call in to file trouble tickets because there are already a lot of them. i was also informed that they will be closing the pre-pay loophole and investigating accounts that have a high usage on clicks with a low flex bucket balance.
