Cricket Changes?

Website is under maintenance and I cant get web on my phone for some reason. Something going on, or does this happen? I only saw maintenance the night before they released the new plans.

I can say one thing. The wap address changed to 10.132.25.254. I have to use this with utunnel. My speed is jumping way higher than usual with it hitting almost a meg on download with speedtest.net app which it usually never gets above 600. It seems they are ramping up for the release of the new phones.

Cricket has uncapped their internet speeRAB. They are going to top out around 1.4 rabps if you life in an congested EVDO area.

Is it possible that the increase in speed is due to the ip change with many phones not using the new ip and not using up the bandwidth?
I got a slight increase in speed both ways.. maybe like 10KB/s

A slight increase is possible. Cricket previously capped speeRAB at 600rabps. They found that uncapping them actually improved network performance.

It would appear that the website was simply offline for maintenance. It is back up now with no changes.
